Private Practice is an American medical drama television program which ran on ABC from September 26, 2007 to January 22, 2013. A spin-off of Grey's Anatomy, the series takes place at Seaside Wellness (formerly Oceanside Health & Wellness Group) and chronicles the life of Dr. Addison Montgomery, played by Kate Walsh, as she leaves Seattle Grace Hospital in order to join a private practice, in Los Angeles

NBC has announced some of the pilots that it will not be ordering to series this fall — releasing actors and writers from their contracts. This doesn’t mean that those not listed here will definitely be picked up; it simply means that they’re still in contention for the (many) open spots in NBC’s fall lineup.
NOT GOING TO SERIES:
“Joe, Joe and Jane”: A multi-cam sitcom centered on an author, Joe (Will Greenberg) who is torn between his clingy wife Jane (Sally Pressman) and his best friend and writing partner, Joe (Dave Annable). The series, from “The Office” and “Just Shoot Me” writers Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, also starred Larry Wilmore,
“Drop Off” (aka The Gates): Described as “an adult ensemble comedy set at the front gates of an elementary school drop-off,” the show revolved around the parents and school staff, and their “social minefield” when picking up and dropping off their children each week. It starred Kathleen Rose Perkins, Diana Maria Riva, Christina Kirk, Josh Grisetti, Greg Germann, Ken Marino, Stephen Guarino, Gunnar Sizemore and Kylie Rogers.
“Holding Pattern”: A half-hour comedy about a group of friends whose lives change irrevocably after they survive a plane crash. Erinn Hayes, Nelson Franklin, Luka Jones, Kate Lang Johnson, Kimiko Glenn and Humphrey Kerr starred.
“Bloodlines”: Starring “Nine Lives of Chloe King’s” Skyler Samuels as Bird, torn between two feuding families full of murderers and mercenaries. In order to break her curse, Bird must find and kill her own mother. It also starred Jonathan Banks, KaDee Strickland, Tom Everett Scott, Chris Zylka and Tzi Ma.
“Sixth Gun”: A “supernatural western” about six mythical guns with powers, from Ryan Condal and Carlson Cuse, the drama starred Laura Ramsey, W. Earl Brown, Aldis Hodge, Graham McTavish, Pedro Pascal, James LeGros, Michiel Huisman, Elena Satine and Chin Han.
“The Hatfields and the McCoys”: From executive producer Charlize Theron, this drama updated the legendary family feud to present-day Pittsburgh. Virginia Madsen, Rebecca De Mornay, Sophia Bush, Patrick Flueger, Jesse Lee Soffer, Annie Illonzeh, James Remar and Nick Westrate starred.

We are really sad that Private Practice has come to an end on Janaury 22th, 2013. We still love this show very much and because of this we are going to rewatch all episodes of Private Practice. It will be open to fans old and new. There are still so many people out there who has never watched the show and we hope that many people will join the rewatch so we can also chat via twitter about it at the same time.
